Role Overview:
BonV Technology is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive and coordinate our R&D initiatives across multiple technical domains. This role requires a dynamic leader to oversee day-to-day technical partnerships, synchronize R&D efforts, and manage manufacturing alignment for our drone and eVTOL programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for innovation in aerial logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- R&D Program Coordination:
- Oversee and align multiple R&D initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among engineering, design, and testing teams.
- Develop and manage project timelines, objectives, and resource allocation for all R&D programs.
- Regularly review and refine program goals, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with BonV’s strategic vision and innovation roadmap.
- Technical Partnership Management:
- Establish and manage relationships with technical partners, research institutions, and key stakeholders, ensuring productive collaborations and technology advancements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical partners, facilitating clear communication, expectation management, and progress updates.
- Identify new opportunities for technical collaborations that align with BonV’s R&D and product development goals.
- Manufacturing Coordination:
- Ensure that R&D outputs are effectively transitioned to manufacturing, coordinating with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Oversee the manufacturing readiness of R&D projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Track and address potential production bottlenecks, coordinating cross-functional efforts to resolve technical challenges.
- Project Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of project milestones, budgets, and progress reports.
- Prepare and present regular updates to executive management, highlighting project status, risks, and mitigations.
- Establish and track KPIs for program effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Risk Management & Troubleshooting:
- Identify potential technical and logistical risks in R&D and manufacturing workflows, developing proactive solutions to mitigate these challenges.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure project continuity and alignment with quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in program management within an R&D or manufacturing setting, preferably in the aerospace or drone technology industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Proven experience in managing technical partnerships, manufacturing workflows, and cross-functional project coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess project performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement effective solutions.
